BANDIT BRINGS LIGHTS TO BONNAROO

MANCHESTER, TENNESSEE- It was a weekend of pulsating beats of electronica, blaring bluegrass, hard core rockers and uncontained laughter as over 125 bands and 20 comedians took to the stages at The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The diverse lineup of over 200 acts included Billy Joel, Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5, Tears for Fears, Slayer, Kendrick Lamar, Florence and the Machine, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, and My Morning Jacket.  Bandit Lites was again tasked by Hadden Hippsley of Lambda Productions to provide the lighting for the multiple stages.

Bandit has supplied the lighting for the three day weekend that takes place in a 700 acre field affectionately known as “The Farm” since its inception in 2002.

CHRIS YOUNG AND BANDIT LITES TOUR COUNTRY

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Grammy nominated country singer Chris Young is on the road bringing his show winning sounds to fans around the country with lighting provided by Bandit Lites.

Production manager and lighting director Mike Stanley worked with lighting designer Chris Lisle to create a rig that kept the day-to-day building at a minimum, with nine main sections locking together to create a stunning visual array of lights and video. Bandit supplied the lighting package, which includes Robe Pointes, Bandit 5x5s, and Martin Mac Auras.

COUNTERPOINT MUSIC FESTIVAL GOES BIG WITH BANDIT LITES

ROME, GEORGIA – Bandit Lites is continuing its summer of music festivals by providing the lighting for the CounterPoint Music Festival, where more than 60 artists including Widespread Panic, Zedd, Umphrey’s McGee, Knife Party and The Roots performed on one of the events five stages across Georgia’s Kingston’s Down 5,000 acres.

The lighting coordination for the three day event was managed by 3srCreative, with Seth Jackson working with Bandit to create looks that would be visible both during the day and evening.

BANDIT AND BILLY CURRINGTON CELEBRATE 'SUMMER FOREVER'

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Country music artist Billy Currington is out on tour with Tim McGraw for the Shotgun Rider Tour with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites. Currington is promoting his fifth studio album Summer Forever, and just celebrated his tenth number one single, “Don’t.”

Having worked with Currington since 2009, lighting designer Chris Lisle approached the lighting from an efficiency standpoint, as the gear would need to be able move on and off the stage quickly while still being able to clear doors and fit within the allotted truck space.
