BANDIT LITES NAMED LIGHTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – Bandit Lites rounded out its 50th year by winning Lighting Company of the Year at the 18th Annual Parnelli Awards. Hosted by GRAMMY-nominated drummer Kenny Aronoff, the yearly gala returned for its second year at Winter NAMM on Jan. 25, 2019 at the Anaheim Hilton.

This year’s win marks the seventh time Bandit Lites has been awarded the Parnelli and the 26th overall Lighting Company of the Year award for the company.

TRUMPET AWARDS SHINE WITH BANDIT LITES

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The 2019 Bounce Trumpet Awards, the all-star celebration of African-American achievements and contributions, were held Sat. Jan. 19 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre with a lighting package supplied by Bandit Lites. The annual star-studded event, hosted by Wendy Raquel Robinson and Tank, will be televised on Bounce Sun. Feb. 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET. and features moving tributes and amazing musical performances.

Honorees for the evening consisted of MC Lyte, Robert Townsend, JD McCray, Tim King, Rodney Jerkins, Tip “T.I.” Harris and Dapper Dan.

BANDIT LITES HOLDS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Bandit Lites team members from across the country gathered in Nashville for the Annual General Meeting to celebrate the past year’s achievements, award those with significant anniversaries and those who demonstrated excellence in service in addition to strategize for the upcoming year’s successes.

In a special ceremony, Bandit Chair Michael T. Strickland lauded Leonard Cox, the company’s first employee to retire. Cox served in the military prior to joining Bandit Lites 25 years ago and has proved invaluable to the company serving most recently as the Director of Logistics and Safety.
