BANDIT GOES BEACH FRONT WITH HANGOUT MUSIC FESTIVAL

GULF SHORES, ALABAMA – A weekend at the ocean can be entertainment enough, but the Hangout Music Festival took that sentiment and expounded upon with multiple stages scattered across the sandy beaches and ocean backdrop with lighting from Bandit Lites. The event provided not only a view of paradise, but the sounds of the Foo Fighters, Beck, the Zac Brown Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Skrillex, My Morning Jacket, Foster the People, Paramore and Spoon.

With a Ferris wheel, a beach house hangout, VIP areas, gourmet beach fare and a viewing tower known as the “Mega Drop,” this year’s festival also touted a hip craft beer courtyard that boasted draughts from Goose Island, Lagunitas, New Belgium, Straight to Ale, Southern Tier and Abita.

BANDIT LIGHTS THE WAY FOR MIRROR MAZE

PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE – It is not every day that families can make their way through an castle holding a spectacular mirror maze, but in Tennessee’s mountain resort town of Pigeon Forge, thousands find themselves embarking on an adventure to rescue a princess in a space with more than 288 potential turns among hundreds of mirrored walls with lighting and effects installed by Bandit Lites.

With a new haunted attraction being installed on the first floor of the Castle of Chaos building at the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors moved to the second floor of the same building.

ZZ TOP ZIGZAGS ACROSS COUNTRY WITH BANDIT LITES

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – American rock band ZZ Top may be nearing 50 years together, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group shows no signs of slowing down as they continue selling out shows across all of North America. Bandit Lites provided the lighting package for ZZ Top in a design made to match the band’s rock sound.

Lighting designer Gabe Hodge  built on the previous year’s design which consisted of 18 lamp bars with 6 GRN LED pars per bar, 6 Color Kinetic Colorblaze 72 LED strip lights, and 8 Elation CUEPIX WW2 Blinders which replaced the 4 GRN 8-lite moles.

ONEREPUBLIC RETURN WITH BANDIT LITES

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – American rock band OneRepublic returned to the road with lighting provided Bandit Lites. Following their wildly successful Native Tour, the multiplatinum band continues to promote their third studio album, Native, with performances in Canada and overseas.

Due to the smashing success of their North American tour, lighting designer Chris Lislekept a similar design consisting of diamond shaped lighting pods and video screens and utilizing layers of lights throughout rig allowing for incredible, epic looks.
