SAM HUNT 'LEAVES THE LIGHTS' TO BANDIT

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Rising country star Sam Hunt is having a fantastic year, with his first album Montevallo becoming the bestselling country debut album since 2011, certified gold, and two number ones on Billboard’s country airplay charts. He’s now on tour with lighting provided by Bandit Lites, bringing his smooth sound to established country fans and winning new listeners every day.

Designer Mark Steinwachs worked closely with Hunt, production manager Bob Harmon and manager Brad Belanger to create a ‘specific vibe’ for the shows, while still creating powerful lighting looks using only one or two colors per song. Programming was provided by John Lucksinger.

BANDIT LITES AND MARK CARVER LIGHT STELLAR AWARDS

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA- For the last 30 years, members of the world of Gospel music have gathered to honor African American artists at The Stellar Awards. Bandit Lites and lighting designer Mark Carver once again joined forces to help set the stage for the event, which included both a live audience and a televised program. Co-hosted by David and Tamela Mann and Rickey Smiley, the event bestowed special honors on President Barack Obama, Bishop Paul Morton, Andrae Crouch and Al “The Bishop” Hobbs.

Due to the special milestone year, this year’s production expanded into a much larger scope and scale in the Las Vegas Orleans Arena.

BANDIT LITES SALES AND INSTALLATION TEAM GROWS

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE – Bandit Lites premier international sales and installation team is thrilled to share it is expanding with the hiring of Rudi Aldridge and Brandon Gauthier.

Rudi Aldridge joins Bandit as a Sales and Design Associate with more than twenty years of experience in venue operations and management, including the Tennessee Performing Arts Center as an event Master Electrician and Technical Director at a multi-venue facility at Vanderbilt University. Rudi’s vast lighting design background also featured productions for the Tennessee Repertory Theatre,

BANDIT LITES AND PAUL HOFFMAN LIGHT WIDESPREAD PANIC

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Following Widespread Panic’s larger-than-life New Year’s Eve performance, the rock band has returned to the road for a 25 date spring tour. On the road with them is long time lighting designer Paul Hoffman, who again trusted Bandit Lites to provide the gear for his exceedingly mind-blowing psychedelic looks.

Due to the wide ranges of venues that Widespread Panic plays, Hoffman is always conscientious of designing a flexible rig that can be utilized in both tiny theaters and expansive arenas.
