SLIGHTLY STOOPID IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER WITH BANDIT LITES

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – American rock band Slightly Stoopid is bringing the party to the people with their “Schools Out for Summer Tour.” Known for their signature blend of reggae, punk, rock and punk sound, the band tours extensively every year, with Pollstar ranking them in the top 20 summer tours for the last two years. Bandit Lites is once again providing the lighting package for the band, who dropped their ninth studio album, Everyday Life, Everyday People mid-July.

Lighting designer Scott O’Connor shared he wanted to design a rig that was all together simple and clean, but bold. This summer’s production evoked the look of a backyard house party, giving the audience the sensation they’ve dropped in on an epic summer bash.

BANDIT LITES CONTINUES TO GROW WITH TEAM MEMBERS

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Summer season for Bandit Lites is packed with festivals, massive headlining tours and more, causing a growing need for more shop and road staff. Among the incredibly busy season Bandit is thrilled to welcome Arie Zaky, Jacob Edge, Elizabeth Weller, Mark Scherer, Scott Wesson and Chris Noll as full-time team Bandit Lites members following their initial work with the company as Best Techs.

Arie Zaky will be working as a Cable Assembly Technician and Jacob Edge joined Nashville’s Technical Service Department as a Moving Light Technician.

BANDIT BRINGS THE BOOM FOR FORECASTLE FESTIVAL

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – The seventeenth annual Forecastle Music Festival descended on Louisville’s Waterfront park for a weekend of music, activism and art. Bandit Lites is proud to once again have aided the festival’s lighting needs by supplying the systems for the two larger stages. Headliners for the weekend included Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire, Jason Isbell, War on Drugs, Modest Mouse, Vance Joy and Jimmy Eat World.

The event’s main stage, the Mast Stage, featured Roby Pointes, Cuepix WW4, Nexus 7x7, VL3000 spot and GRN moving wash units, Solaris Flares and Chauvet Illuminarc Panel 80 LED Washes all controlled by grandMA 2 full size consoles.

NASHVILLE CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH BANDIT LITES

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – More than 250,000 people came downtown to celebrate Independence Day at Nashville's "Let Freedom Sing!" Fourth of July party. Bandit Lites was proud to supply the lighting for the event, which featured two stages and 66,000 fireworks over Music City.

Lighting designer Erik Parker shared that the two stages had two distinct purposes, with the stage on Broadway outside of Bridgestone Arena featuring performances from touring artists such as Lady Antebellum, Chris Janson, Jason Eskridge and others, while the Ascend Amphitheater stage showcased the Grammy-award winning Nashville Symphony.
